Hello Parents and Students!

Welcome back to the Fall 2022 Semester at Ashton Ranch Week 16 and Kingswood Week 15 with Sensei Sean Milligan. Please read IMPORTANT NOTICE weekly. All children must be checked-in online, and in-person in order for us to get a proper attendance count. Please be sure to have all absences made up by the testing date for each location. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact me.

 ~ IMPORTANT NOTICE ~ PLEASE READ THIS PORTION WEEKLY!!! ~

*ABSENCES : PARENTS BE SURE THAT YOUR STUDENTS HAVE ALL ABSENCES MADE UP BEFORE THE TESTING DATE OF EACH LOCATION, POSTED BELOW

  *Perfect attendance is REQUIRED before testing. Students will be allowed to test if they have 1 (one) absence, if the absence is paid and the "make-up" class is attended the next semester. Students with 2 or more absences will not be allowed to test. Speak to your instructor or class assistant for more information on make-ups. Make-ups cannot be done on testing night. 

   *PLEASE READ THE TESTING INFORMATION BELOW!

*TESTING PAPERWORK! I will have all testing forms ready for our testing when we return from Christmas Break. If you could please email or text me with the following information I will need to put on each student's testing form.

  *Student Name

  *Student Age

  *Current Belt Rank - EX: white belt; yellow belt with a white stripe

  *Exceptions : The following belt colors will not be testing with our regular classes : 

     *Red Belts with a Brown Stripe

     *Brown Belts with a Black Stripe

*Children (infants up to age 17) that are not in our Karate Program are not allowed in the gym during class

*Only WATER is allowed in the GYM, NO other drinks or food

*Students, please bring your staff for Specials ($3.00)

*AWARDS CEREMONY : JANUARY 19, 2023 ~ The classes will be divided between the two times. I will send out an email with a list of students who will be at which class time. If the time slot I put your child in does not work for you please let me know

  *CLASS 1 TIME : 5:45 PM - 6:30 PM

  *CEREMONY     : 6:30 PM - 7:00 PM

  *SPECIALS          : 7:00 PM - 7:30 PM

  *CLASS 2 TIME  : 7:30 PM - 8:15 PM

  *CEREMONY      : 8:15 PM - 8:45 PM

*TESTING DATE : JANUARY 7, 2023

*AWARDS CEREMONY : JANUARY 21, 2023

  *SPECIALS         : 10:15 AM - 10:45 AM

  *CLASS TIME    : 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM

  *CEREMONY    : 12:00 PM - 12:30 PM

TESTING INFORMATION

*Please note the TESTING DATE CHANGES above

*Testing Fee : $12.00 (can be chosen when checking in, is not included in regular class fees)

*Spectators will not be allowed during testing.

*Perfect attendance is required.

*Testing will be done during Regular Class Times, but may run a little over. Please be patient.

*All students are required to attend class on testing day/night even if they are not testing, however they are not required to test. *Students who do not want to take the test will participate in a practice test.

*Belts are NOT sold! They are free when you pass the test.

*Do not call the office or the instructor to see if your student passed. Certificates and awards will be presented on awards night, which is also the last class of the semester.

*Students are increasing in rank exactly as they should be, if they advance one rank at a time. Some students will skip a rank if the instructor thinks they are ready.
