Parents who would like to be in the class to assist must sign the yellow "Parent Helper" sign-in sheet at the front desk. TESTING INFORMATION FOR SHEETS
Parents please send me the following information so that the test forms can be prefilled. This will make the line go much faster if we already have the information.

Current Belt Color
Belt Size: can be found on the tag as 0, 00, 000, 1, 2, etc. If unable to find, it should be the same size as the gi (uniform). If unsure, please bring to me and we can figure out the size together.

TESTING INFORMATION
**Testing will be done at your child's regular location at the regular class time. We try to stay within each classes time frame; however, with large classes, we may run a few minutes over, we appreciate your patience if this does occur.
**We encourage all students to test on the testing day; however, they are NOT required to test.
**Students who do not want to test will still participate in a practice test and class.
**Perfect attendance is required before the awards day. In rare cases, where a student becomes ill during the last two weeks of the semester and cannot complete one or two make-up classes, parents will be allowed to prepay for these make-up classes and make up their classes at the beginning of the following semester.
**Students with three or more absences must discuss arrangements with their instructor or class secretary. Make-ups cannot be done on awards day due to time constraints.
**Students who miss our scheduled testing day can be tested if a regularly scheduled class occurs before our scheduled awards day. If a student is unable to test, these students can test early the next semester once make-up classes are completed.
The fee for testing is $12.00 plus the regular class fee. If you have prepaid for the entire semester, you will be charged $12.00 for testing. Please select the testing option when checking in using the parent portal. On the testing night, students will individually check in with the class secretary or instructor to ensure proper testing forms are completed.
SPECTATORS are not allowed to watch during testing. The students are nervous enough without an audience. Furthermore, we need a quiet atmosphere for the testing. We
appreciate your understanding and support!
CERTIFICATES and AWARDS will be presented on awards day, usually one to two weeks after testing. Information on the ceremony will be provided on the day of testing. Remember that ALL students will receive an award and certificate on award day. Students who tested will receive their next belt rank and a promotion certificate. Students who did not test will receive a participation medal and participation certificate. Our instructors possess all testing results until the end of the semester.
