Sensei Sean Milligan
Sensei Sean Milligan grew up in ACTIVSTARS starting classes under Hanshi Kraig Hollingworth at age 7. He continued his training under Sensei Ron Kallam after Hanshi Hollingworth left to start an ACTIVSTARS branch in Kansas. After earning his black belt, Sean went to college where he participated in Arizona State University’s Mixed Martial Arts Team. After graduating, he became an instructor in 2009.

His current rank is second degree black belt in Toushi Kan, which is a mixed martial arts style consisting of Karate, Judo, Taekwando, Hapkido, and Kendo. In addition, he is a certified American Black Ops Combat Arts Instructor.
Sensei Sean considers himself to be very lucky to have studied under accomplished martial arts instructors and very privileged to work with some of the world’s best instructors. He plans to mold many black belt students as well as coach students at high level competitions.

Sensei Ashton Lovitt
Greetings my name is Sensei Ashton. I first started off at ActivStars hoping to find a way to enjoy myself. Little did I know that I would find true enjoyment in teaching others in the way of martial arts.

Sensei David, age 52. First Karate test was in June 1995.
My Base karate Style in Chun Kuk Do, under Master Potter, #98 of Master Chuck Norris’s Black Belts. I currently hold the rank of Cho Don Bo, since December 1999. Around the end of 1995, my Master instructor came to me and said, I need another instructor and you’re it. With a “Yes Sir”, I taught my first class of young children. I was hooked. Whenever possible, I assisted teaching.
About 14 years ago, my oldest Son asked if we could join karate together. We started with Young Champions, and Sensei Sean. I assisted him for about 7 years. Then I retired. Years later my youngest son asked if we could join karate. We signed up with Active Stars, and Sensei Sean.
Decades later after my first time teaching, I still enjoy guiding students in the Martial Arts.
